Here's a sample site, sans content, thrown together in exactly ten minutes with Google Page Creator.
That's not bad considering I didn't even bother changing the default template. The drag and drop features are nice as well, and I have to give Google kudos for simplicity and ease of use.

The concept behind the googlepages is a simple way for anyone to create a web page. For those of us who have used all forms of creating web pages, googlepages is definately a great way to get started. It lacks some good internal link structure but in general is the right approach. And, it is still in Beta so we'll see where it goes from here. The big question is, will google ever start to charge money for it???
